    I am a beekeeper and use these for my honey jars. I often get some jars returned and the gummed labels easily wash off without a trace. Besides there is no backing paper, so less waste in the first place. I apply the labels by simply spraying the back with a fine mist from a plant sprayer. That moistens it just enough for a reliable adhesion.
